The Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc. (Foundation) was established in 1948 to receive, manage, and disburse private gifts in support of Virginia Tech programs. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation governed by its board of directors. The Foundation serves the university by generating funding from private sources and aggressively managing its assets to provide funding which supplements state appropriations. The Foundation provides additional operating support to colleges and departments, assists in the funding of major building projects, and provides seed capital for new university initiatives.

Position Number: 

Responsible for posting rents, reconciling accounts and other accounting functions associated with the Foundation’s real estate portfolio. Responsible for maintaining the Foundation’s real estate database and ensuring that all information is current and accurate. Using Yardi Voyager, track, maintain, and communicate all critical dates relating to leases to include expirations, option exercise dates, rental changes, and other critical information to the Director of Real Estate. Maintain positive relationship with tenants.


Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related field preferred. Experience with real estate database software and working knowledge of Banner is a plus.
